Final Cut Studio 2!! - Greg the dogsitter - 04-15-2007 Don't even know what that is; just wanted to be first. :-) Re: Final Cut Studio 2!! - vision63 - 04-15-2007 Yay! Greg's number ONE! U DA MAN. Re: Final Cut Studio 2!! - robfilms - 04-15-2007 i know this, if u want to really utilize many of the new features in this versionof fcp suite-particulary color-then i'm going to have to step up and pony up for a beefier mac with a faster garphics card. ouch! be well rob Re: Final Cut Studio 2!! - jimbrady - 04-15-2007 Such was the case w/the last FCP as well, Rob... but you've had a full two years since then to get in the swing of things. Ships "May." Re: Final Cut Studio 2!! - jimbrady - 04-15-2007 [quote Greg the dogsitter]Don't even know what that is; just wanted to be first. :-) And you weren't first. Sorry. Re: Final Cut Studio 2!! - The Grim Ninja - 04-15-2007 I NEED it. I know I NEED it. Someone buy it for me, please... (cameras to go along with it would be nice too, thanks). Re: Final Cut Studio 2!! - Chupa Chupa - 04-15-2007 • Mix and match different video formats and frame rates in the same timeline — all without rendering. YES!! That is worth the price of admission alone. Re: Final Cut Studio 2!! - blusubaru - 04-15-2007 LAME. No changes to DVDSP. Re: Final Cut Studio 2!! - Chupa Chupa - 04-15-2007 [quote blusubaru]LAME. No changes to DVDSP. I found it odd too but I suspect Apple withheld DVD SP 5 for Leopard reasons (HDCP). Once Leopard ships I wouldn't be surprised to see DVD SP 5 show up w/ a free upgrade for FCPS 6 users. OTOH I'm wondering if Live Type is on it's death bed. Re: Final Cut Studio 2!! - blusubaru - 04-16-2007 There were all kinds of rumors about the ability to have multiple audio layers for several different menus...essentially keeping the same audio track across all menus. This is something that has been impossible in the past. Other rumors stated BlueRay support and that would hint at the inclusion of BR burners in the next MacPros. |
