Once again, The Leader takes up the typewriter with an open letter about Apple's environmental accomplishments and goals for the future. Very illuminating reading (no pun intended in the case of LED backlighting!).

Yeah, this is just PR. I suppose some of it is true on each side but they both have their slants.

I think this is prompted to two environment related shareholder sponsored proposals on the ballot for next week's Apple shareholder meeting. The board of directors recommends voting against both proposals, and this may be more directed at shareholders on reasons why they should vote as the board recommends.

As I said in the other thread, the Leader's stuff is self-serving. But how much of it if any, is untrue?

EVERYBODY's story has a "slant". I don't care. What I do care about is how truthful/accurate it is.

I like his Open Letter stuff.

steve failed to mention box sizes (he did mention something in his keynote) -- they are small and getting smaller every year, and the fact that refurbs ship in plani brown boxes...
