New Pentax rebates: K10D, K100D, Optio, accessories - Don Kiyoti - 05-03-2007

Unfortunately for me, I ordered a K10D & vertical grip on Sunday. I've heard some dealers will do a return/resell in order to create an invoice dated after the start of the rebate. In this case that was yesterday. I wonder if B&H would do that?

It does not cover the K110D?!?!? Wierd!!!

Seems like the K110D barely exists. It's a nice camera, but apparently Pentax sells few of them. The K100D is way more popular.
On my rebate thing, I did call B&H. Not surprisingly, the rep said they cannot change the date of an existing order. He did offer that I could return the stuff and reorder it but that I'd be responsible for the shipping both ways. That takes a pretty large bite out of the rebate. Between that and the time spent messing with it, and waiting another week to get my camera (!) I believe I'll chalk this one up to "oh well!"

That's just one of those things in life you don't see coming. That last one went so long I didn't think they would do another one so soon. You will just have to make up the difference in some great pics ;-)
