wacom funkiness - bazookaman - 05-16-2007

When i try to use my wacom tablet, it seems the stylus "activates" the screen w/o me even touching the tablet. All i have to do is hover about an inch above the tablet and it automatically selects wherever the cursor happens to be. Its like its automatically clicking when i just hover over something.

The eraser side works fine. I have checked the settings. Deleted and reinstalled the wacom driver.

hmmm...I've never had to replace the nib on a wacom stylus before. But that seemed to do the trick. I'm amazed i still had the little bundle of replacements from 3 years ago!

All worky now.

That's not unusual. My tablet starts to detect the pen at about an inch away.

Okay, CLICKING from a distance is pretty weird.
