looking for an overhead(?) projector that projects original artwork - Todd's keyboard - 05-16-2007

I'm looking for a projector that can show original artwork. I'd like to be able to show my postcard collection to a group of people.

Is there a reasonably priced projector that will pick up positive images, and shine them on a screen? I think I remember that Kenner made a toy version of something like this.

What is the name, so I can start searching?

thanks, Todd's keyboard

I still have and use an Artograph projector that I have had for decades. Mine is a much older version that is similar to the Prism model shown on the link.

You can get them at Dick Blick and I'm sure there are other places, too.

Loads of them. You can often find them in crafts stores.

Pearl stocks them regularly. For other stores like Michaels, call ahead.

They're called "opaque projectors". Google it...
