LOST episode discussion thread 5-16-2007 - pRON aHOLIC - 05-17-2007 I missed the show due to other commitments but feel free to discuss tonight's episode. Re: LOST episode discussion thread 5-16-2007 - mikebw - 05-17-2007 Not a lot of real action, (I mean killing) but we did learn a bit more about Charlie's past. I wonder if Desmond saw that paddle coming in his vision or not. Interesting theory about him having to step into Charlie's shoes to fulfill whatever destiny thing he has going on. The people in that underwater station didn't seem like they had been abandoned for too long, so Ben was probably lying to his people about that accident. If what Desmond said would happen is true then I expect there to be plenty more action down there. Where is Locke? Mysteriously healing in the forest? I wonder if he will just come back in the midst of it and go all ape s*!& with his hunting knives. Or maybe he will get mixed in with the attack party and they will have to delay the explosions. Re: LOST episode discussion thread 5-16-2007 - mikebw - 05-17-2007 don't all chime in at once... Re: LOST episode discussion thread 5-16-2007 - Carthaigh - 05-17-2007 Serious let down after last week. Alex is pretty hot. Chicks with their bloody hands inside of bunnies gets me very excited. Re: LOST episode discussion thread 5-16-2007 - Markintosh - 05-17-2007 Not many answers this episode....a lot of filler. Seemingly unimportant Charlie backstory and lovey dovey scenes with Claire. Some Jack power scenes.... As above, a let down after last week. Re: LOST episode discussion thread 5-16-2007 - vision63 - 05-17-2007 I'm busy right now Sayid! Don't bother me with your drivel! "But Jack," Sayid! Don't you hear what I said? I'm BUSY! Re: LOST episode discussion thread 5-16-2007 - mikebw - 05-17-2007 [quote Markintosh]Not many answers this episode.... What about the new underwater station? This is the kind of thing we have been waiting months to be fed! And now they just toss it on the floor for us, as if we already knew what that cable into the ocean was all about. I would say that was pretty major, but in all there were not too many other answers to be had. I mean this whole season is wrapping up nicely with a 1 day battle royale. There will have to be some crazy twist as the carnage ensues or else nobody will watch the next season. We already have all the major players involved- jack, rousseau etc. The only aces up their sleeve are Locke and maybe that creepy invisible guy from last time. Re: LOST episode discussion thread 5-16-2007 - iaJim - 05-17-2007 It seems odd to me that Ben has kept his cool through everything, but now he is is letting emotion drive him. What has caused the change. Is it something that Jacob did when Locke was there? And why did he take Locke to see him? He could have just avoided mentioning that whole thing. The underwater station is almost a James Bond sort of thing. I had to wonder why they didn't just cut the cable going to it. And "Looking glass" as in Alice. Wasn't there a white rabbit last week from Ben's past? That can't be accidental. Re: LOST episode discussion thread 5-16-2007 - Glued - 05-17-2007 Jacob is trapped in his cabin by the ring of ash (remember Locke bending down to inspect after Ben carefully stepped over it). The underwater station might explain the shark with the dharma logo tattooed on it's body oh so long ago (marine experiments? - why sharks don't get cancer?). Re: LOST episode discussion thread 5-16-2007 - Markintosh - 05-17-2007 Underwater lab = more questions not answers! |
