Re: Ghastly Joan - $tevie - 05-21-2007

The only way Joan Rivers is going to look good is if she stands next to Richard Chamberlain, which would make her look good by comparison. I've never found her funny and now she is unfunny AND scary looking.

I've always liked Joan Rivers. She was a great co-host for Johnny, but didn't carry her own show well, and Johnny pretty much drove it into the ground.

Her honesty was always amazing. I remember when she said on some TV show that if she has one more lift, she'll be wearing a goatee.

A lot of people should be doing so well at 73.

If she had aged naturally, would she still be working? Would we still be discussing her?

Re: Ghastly Joan - volcs0 - 05-21-2007

Her appearances on Howard Stern are terrific. She tells some great stories about current - and past comedians.

Re: Ghastly Joan - incognegro - 05-22-2007

she is auditioning for a role as the next Cryptkeeper.

no makeup required.

How good will you look at her age? Judge not......

Re: Ghastly Joan - Jp! - 05-22-2007

natural and aged beats her face any day. fact.

My plan is to look like I am made of flesh and blood, as opposed to badly-molded casting resin.

Re: Ghastly Joan - cbelt3 - 05-22-2007

So her role in Terry Gilliam's Brazil was mere foreshadowing ?
