I'd guess that to some extent, what gives this vehicle it's ability to traverse deep holes such as this, is the large approach angles this vehicle can accomodate (due to the wheels being so close the edge of the body).

Now within reason how would you end up in a hole like that? Adult beverages would have to be a major influence.

Jeep is building some neat inexpensive cars, I just wonder how they are going to hold up past 100,000 miles. Too bad they are Chryslers.
