I looked hard for specific warrantee on this monitor without results. Has anyone ordered this monitor and know the warrantee (new not refurb)?

This has become a stupid pet peeve of mine. I keep trying to explain to my friends that a product can be guaranteed not to fail according the terms stipulated in the warranty. They keep using the phrase "warranteed". I don't know where that came from.

Well, if you buy something that carries a warranty, you are the warrantee. If we consider the act of buying an item with a warranty bestows the title of warrantee upon you, we can perhaps also consider that you have now been "warranteed".
