Good comprehensive review.

I wish he would have explained why Apple and/or AT&T crippled the unit by limiting it to EDGE. That seems to be the biggest flaw (well besides limiting it to AT&T)

No SIM card slot? That sucks. Pretty much prevents you from unlocking an iPhone and using it with somebody other than The Phone Company (and I'm sure that's not an accident).

Haven't read Walt's review yet, but it's been stated repeatedly that there is a SIM slot.

It does have a SIM card slot, all phones HAVE to have one these days. What it does not have is a memory card slot for MMC, RS-MMC, SD, xD, etc.
