Apple Event in the UK - RAMd®d - 09-13-2007

Apple is calling on the UK press for a special media presentation next week to be held at the company's flagship retail store in London, reports Macworld UK.

iPhone for the UK, 3G?

More importantly, will there be anything announced over there, over there, that will make it's way here, like-- Leopard?

That's Tuesday, the 18th. The Paris Expo is the 25th.

3 Geeeeeeeee baby. That's what I'm talkin' bout. I don't see how Apple can justify 3G for Europe and not the US though so if this is all about 3G I think they have to simultaneously release over here. But put aside the $200 price cut, how many "early adopters" will be re-po'd if this comes to happen. I guess that is why Steve gave us all $100 coupons...to go buy the new iPhone. Ha ha. I'll be baaaa baaaa baaaaing all the way to the Apple store for my quarterly wallet sheering.

Huh. It's in most major (and some not so major) cities. http://www.wireless.att.com/coverageviewer/popUp_3g.html Plus for those that don't have it it just throttles down to EDGE. I just can't see Apple having a lesser phone in the US than Europe. That will kill US sales.
