My G5 is finally too slow today - M A V I C - 09-26-2007 I've pushed it some before, but not quite like this. I'm curious if my MBP 2.33GHz would be faster. Disk activity is minimal. I'm having to create a ~160" wide 150dpi banner. This dual 2.7 G5 is crawling... Earlier this month i worked on a graphic 150 inches wide x 96 inches tall at 133 dpi. Saved it was 1.43gb. And my 2.66 MacPro with 5.5 gb of ram was rendered unto its knees.
