Where is this thing again?
Mail is acting up again on me, the change I made before to the outgoing mail server name is not sticking after restarts.

In Tiger:

Mail > preferences > accounts > server settings

Thanks.
(In Panther, instead of being under Advanced, where I was looking, its under the Acct info tab...)

follow-up Q:
ATT sys to put in an outgoing server name that starts w/ "smtpauth.sbcglobal" and that outgoing server SMTP requires authentification.

Right now I have authentication set to None. What should this be set to? Choices are
Password (will I really have to enter a password whenever I send mail?),
MD5 Challenge-Resp
Kerberos v4
Kerberos v5

I would think that you need to put in the password in that field, then everytime you send mail it automagically attaches the password so that ATT mail server will except it.

If you select password, you will see fields in which to enter your user name and password. Most of the time, your e-mail addy is your user name (but not always).
