CoverFlow-like 3D Web Browsing from Space Time... - Harbourmaster - 09-28-2007 http://www.spacetime.com/home.php Search Google, YouTube, RSS, eBay, Amazon, Yahoo!, Flickr and Images all in one 3D space. I don't like anything that introduces the problems of RL files into my computer's interface. (eg, I don't like piles.) Why on earth would I want to look at the back of web page? It'd be one thing if it flipped over and showed me the code, but a shiny silver back? That serves no use. Re: CoverFlow-like 3D Web Browsing from Space Time... - Harbourmaster - 09-28-2007 With video, and some pictures, when you flip the page over you get the image in reverse. Re: CoverFlow-like 3D Web Browsing from Space Time... - Seacrest - 09-28-2007 ![]() Translation: "These guys gave me stock options for this quote, and I know that if I mention both Google AND Apple, it's bound to take off. Nevermind that I bash Google and Apple at every opportunity when being quoted in the media." Re: CoverFlow-like 3D Web Browsing from Space Time... - MacArtist - 09-29-2007 I agree with Mavic in regards to the 3D tabbed web browing. Nothing but eye candy. How much extra horsepower (mhz) does this take? As far as the eBay searching; it would be cool if it showed the items with current bid/time remaining. Chances are you already know what the item looks like. Is this really going to change how we use the internet? Re: CoverFlow-like 3D Web Browsing from Space Time... - onthedownlow - 09-29-2007 I've used this beta for a few months now...pretty slick and cool to show up, but not ready for prime time (may never be). I do like being able to arrange windows around in 'space'...gives it a desktop feel a-la touch computing technology. |
