Vertical or Horizontal for ext Drives? - roshi - 11-28-2007

Is it OK to go between horizontal and vertical with external hard drives?

I have an OWC mercury case, FW 800 400 USB, with a Seagate 750 GB drive in it. Sometimes I have it vertical, sometimes horizontal. Is there some reason to make up my mind?

You might consider seeking professional help, or at least find a hobby Tongue

However, when you have multiple externals, horizontal usually saves space.
I'm now working on a solution to get my Mini & MiniStack on top of my 2 burners & 3 FW hard drives. And yes, I am receiving weekly professional counseling Smile-D

I definitely need professional help. I wonder if there is a Shaman or a Feng Shui expert for placement of drives?

Vertical if you are north of the Mason-Dixon Line. Horizontal if south. Y'all.
