I cannot figure out how to make Safari 3.0.4 be the default browser under User Agent in the Debug menu. It always goes back to Mac MSIE 5.23, which I definitely do not want. I have checked the Preferences, everything I can think of under the Debug menu, but Safari keeps going back to Mac MSIE 5.23 (Internet Explorer!).
I know how to make any browser the default browser, that's not what I mean...

Nope, haven't used Mac MSIE for many a year... must be that no one else on these Mac forums is concerned that Safari 3.0.4 reverts back to MSIE under the Debug menu - this means that web sites identify the browser as something other than what it is.
