Leopard and Toast 7 workaround - dk62 - 12-03-2007

It seems that Roxio is working on the update to Toast 7 to make it compatible with Leopard. In the meantime, it seems that versions prior to 7.1.2 are working fine with Leopard. I just replaced my 7.1.2 with the 7.1 that I downloaded from Roxio's site and the problem I had burning a CD disappeared. There is no direct link to the 7.1 update, but if you go through the steps for 7.1.2 update, at the last step change the last two numbers in the URL to 59 (I think) and hit "return" before pressing the "download" button. Otherwise, you can also use the version that came with the disc, but it is not Universal Binary.

Interesting! I'm gonna have to try that. Thanks

Yeah, I've found 7.0 seems to work fairly well.

Version 8 works great with Leopard. As a matter of fact, I'm encoding a DVD as I'm writing this.

Right, but that's a paid upgrade.
