GPS for under $150 - Mac1337 - 12-19-2007

RS sells TomTom One 3rd Edition and TomTom GO One for $149 each. What is the difference? Are there better units at this price? Do they work with Macs?

Amazon has a Mio C220 for $129.
It's gotten good reviews. Has it's good points and it's bad points.
Radio Shack also has Navigon 2100 for $149. It has text-to-speech and 3D view.
I've purchased both as Christmas presents so I can't give you a hands-on review yet.

I have a Navigon 100x http://www.amazon.com/Navigon-N100-LOOX-Portable-Navigator/dp/B000OLO9B6
It's slow to load (read the reviews) and uses WinBlows CE OS which I understand is hackable (if you're interested) and also explains the lethargy. Once you get used to waiting between touch screen pokes, it works very well. I bought this particular model because it's extremely pocketable and the battery lasts a long time. In the car, you'd want it fairly close because of the small screen size. Yet it is as capable as the Pioneer unit I have in dash.
On the other hand, I think the Garmin has the best user interface (I've had 2, - Nuvi 200 and a 650). Other folks, with more experience may disagree and I'll bow to their opinions.
