Rockband on the Xbox 360 is a complete blast. I can't say enough good things about how everyone in our family, including my wife, loves playing guitar, bass and drums.

When the guitar broke, I went through the simple and efficient automated exchange process on their site - but after a week there was no replacement guitar, and I had to call, talk to India, then USA and after 30 minutes I got the new guitar sent.

Now the drum pedal cracked in half, and I went through the process again. After six days, I called and once again, it looks like I will have to reinitiate the process over the phone. I've been on with them for 30 minutes now and the last person was completely unhelpful and kept to her script.

Anyway, fun game, crappy instruments, mediocre support.

Are you within the original return policy of the vendor? I would just return & re-buy.

These problems are common. If you search around, it seems like broken guitars and drum pedals are par for the course. The policy is to replace them as they break (free). That seems to be the price to pay for having fun with the game.

I just got off the phone with support - talked to a manager who was very nice. They are going to send out the new pedal today, as my previous request was indeed lost...
