SuperDuper - Does Scheduled Backup Request User Password? - kj4btkljv - 01-16-2008

I'm evaluating SuperDuper for scheduled backups, and I apologize if this has been posted before, I didn't search for the answer...

When I open my demo copy and setup my parameters, clicking on the button to start the backup asks me for the account password. Does it still do this during a scheduled backup, or is it skipped?

Thanks for your help!

Jeff

It must save it because it runs the scheduled backup without prompting (I think I clicked the unlock button and added my password there).

No it doesn't ask me. Requiring a password every time would be incompatible with one of superduper's main features, scheduled backups.

That was exactly my feeling, but I just wanted to confirm.

Thanks!
