I see them regularly in my laptop travel bags... one each in heavy duty cordura wheeled, and nappa leather non-wheeled bags... at $81 for 16GB of high speed CF, am thinking of redeploying one as emergency/fix-it/boot drive. they're Lexar, BTW, but don't know about current availability...

I've got a purple Lexar one too. Looks like this:

Looks like the lexar lasts about a year (and is unavailable).
Thanks for teh other links-- too pricey to make sense-- still better off with a small portable hard drive, but eventually removeable media like this will make more sense for storing large amounts of media.
