I have never seen a Cat Skeleton in a tree! - BigGuynRusty - 02-29-2008 "Man, 27, dies rescuing cat from tree" http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-mew-cat29feb29,0,5135886.story Why do folks do such dumb things? The cat will eventually get hungry, thirsty, or bored and will eventually come down on its own. Re: I have never seen a Cat Skeleton in a tree! - threeprong - 02-29-2008 Bueller..... Buelller.... Bueller? Re: I have never seen a Cat Skeleton in a tree! - Lux Interior - 02-29-2008 That's because the cat falls out of the tree after it dies! Re: I have never seen a Cat Skeleton in a tree! - olnacl - 02-29-2008 Story I heard around here was that, years ago, the Broward FD actually rescued a cat from a tree, put it down on the ground to the applause of onlookers and promptly ran over it with the fire truck on departure. May or may not be true - supposedly happened a long time ago and story was told by a FD member. Re: I have never seen a Cat Skeleton in a tree! - Jimmypoo - 02-29-2008 That Broward thing isn't quite true. What happens next, is multiple BSO with giant forearms pull up and beat it to near death, then taser it, then throw it into the backseat of a car, take the cat downtown and THEN run it over. (BSO - Broward Sheriff's Office - well known for the kind of L.A. police dept thug stuff, as is Ft. L police that we see happening nationally these days. Training for brutal takedowns is extensive, but not often used. Many former military have migrated back, to use training to become SEALs, where it belongs. The lower IQ stay put and terrorize people who forget their wallets at home during 3/4 trip to 7-11.) Re: I have never seen a Cat Skeleton in a tree! - olnacl - 02-29-2008 Ah, you know the place. Re: I have never seen a Cat Skeleton in a tree! - olnacl - 02-29-2008 Another story, told by the same individual who was a dispatcher, had a private ambulance transporting a deceased to a funeral home. The ambulance driver got into an accident and a first responder EMT started CPR on the corpse while another was attending to the ambulance driver. Re: I have never seen a Cat Skeleton in a tree! - Don C - 02-29-2008 The Broward story was a Mad Magazine cartoon MANY years ago. |
