Long layovers at JFK... - Will Collier - 02-29-2008

I've got two four-hour-plus layovers at JFK coming up soon. Is there anything worth doing within short range of the airport? Or is that a spectacularly stupid question?

No. JFK is in an arm pit. Anything worthwhile is a long taxi ride away, and four hours isn't much time in NYC traffic + going back through security. Bring a book and stay put.

That's what I was afraid of. Only been through that airport a couple of times, and it's a complete dump. Makes sense the 'hood around it would be just as cruddy.
