What say you? Warranty until at least September 2008, everything else stock (white, 1GB, 80GB, CD-RW, etc.)

For a C2D, that sounds like a pretty decent though not out of this world deal, considering resale value.

I would say that that is a fair price IF it has the original box , accessories, software etc...

If by 'Mid-2007' talking the November models with the GMA X3100 video (vs GMA950) - that's smoking IMHO.

Not a Santa Rosa MacBook (which were dubbed "Late 2007") - according to EveryMac "Mid 2007" models were released May 2007 (and still included the Intel GMA 950).

When did Apple's naming scheme become so complicated? There was only one "300MHz PowerMac 9600" and yet there are three 2GHz MacBook Core 2 Duo machines...

MacBook Update - it may include AppleCare, which *would* make this a decent deal, methinks.

X3100 came in in late '07.

I didn't even notice the changed video processor thing. Now my Macbook feels like a slug.

If you want something confusing...try figuring out Sony's naming scheme for the Vaio line.

Back in the old days we focused on processor power; it was easy to identify a particular computer with its processor speed. Now the focus is on the number of cores.

Core Single, Core Duo, Core 2 Duo, Quad Cores, etc.

It took forever to get to 3 GHz.
