Anyone noticed a PC-compatible USB 802.x dongle cheap/ no rebate on special? - Black Landlord - 05-09-2008
Tenant's kid needs one... cheapest I've found on line is a Hawking for $35 at Best Buy (thats a lot of money for him).
Nearby: Radio Shack, Staples, Circuit City, Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max.
I doubt he would follow through on rebate requirements, so need to skip those.

Got a Fry's nearby? They occasionally have them on sale for $12. I think this is the one, but this brands' Windows drivers suck.

Naw, got to draw the line somewhere. Fronted a printer to a neighbor and got burned on the agreed $$. (had given them the whole computer with a previous printer which they destroyed). I'm willing to help but my monetary donations are reserved for other causes.
Sorry that's not good enough, although I'm actually not sure why I'm letting you lead me off on this totally ridiculous tangent. My questions were clear.
