Sell Powermac G5 DP 1.8 on Ebay - no minimum, reserve and featured plus? - MitchJi - 05-14-2008

Hi,

When I sold my G4 following advice on this forum I (nervously) listed it with a $0.99 starting bid, no reserve, featured plus and a pretty nice add. It worked out really well (sold it for $1,400) which covered most of the $1,800 cost of my G5.

If I do a nice add is that still a good strategy for selling the G5 DP 1.8?

Thanks!

Mitch

I always get the most money by listing something at a buck with no reserve. As long as it is a reasonably popular item that many people will be interested in.

Maybe I'm just weird (ok, I'm definitely weird - what I mean is maybe I'm the exception in this regard) but I always ignore the featured listings and skip down to the regular listings.
