I copied this from the MacResource deal page. I haven't used it, but I thought some of you might want to give it a look, hey it's free.
iSkysoft has released a free version of iPod Movie Converter for Mac. It is designed for Mac OS X users to convert video to mp4 for iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, PSP. It can convert videos to MP4 with high output quality and various features such as setting video brightness, contrast, saturation, video file trim, video crop, batch conversion, and joining multiple files into one file. The download is free, just supply your email address to get the link, but it does have a 50 times conversion limit for the free version.

After using iSquint once, I paid for VisualHub (same company). It is one of the best software investments I've made.

EDIT: I just downloaded iSkysoft and it only lets you do 50 conversion before you have to pay.

I completely agree with you V. VisualHub is easily one of the most valuable pieces of software I've ever purchased.
