Anyone remember a game called Omega - Penguin - 05-31-2008

Does anyone recall this game ? You had to program a robot tank via a programing language and let it fight against opponents.

Does anyone know of a modern version or something similar ?

Thanks
Brian

This sounds vaguely familiar... but I don't remember much about it beyond what you've already said.

I think that games that have programming functions are always educational and encourage logical thinking.

Yeah, it was made by Origin systems in the late eighties, early nineties. There was an Apple II game before it called Robot War.

No idea if there's anything current.

I had that game for the PC. It was fun, and the first "programmer's game" I recall owning. I haven't played one of those in a while, but last time I did, I tried the freeware game "Robo War". Not very graphical, but the same idea as Omega.

Enjoy!
