Will my M4a iTines songs play on a Windows comouter? - Dennis S - 06-02-2008
Most of my iTunes songs are saved as "M4a". Will I have to convert them somehow, or can I just burn them to a CD and put them on a Windows computer or Windows-based iPod?

Unless they are encrypted, there shouldn't be a problem so long as you have the proper codecs. They should be included with VLC, Quicktime, and/or iTunes all of which are available for Windows.

They will play in iTunes or on any iPod just fine. It's the .m4p that require authentication, but even those will still work.

Isn't that when a publication "outs" you for being a closet mac user? Then you're a "comouter"?
