Huzzah!
Posting with Firefox and all looks good (virtually identical to FF in OS X!)
Finally got this baby booting Ubuntu! The hitch in the giddyup turned out to be a stray Windows BIOS file that was messing with the ATI video card and keeping the Xserver from starting up...
Old gal is pretty darn snappy for Quad PPC 604E's running at 180MHz!!
And for those who care to know , yes all four processors are active!

I lusted after it also. The price was enough to give me a heart attack.
I had to settle for a single processor 604e PM 9500/200mhz and that set me back a few $$$.

Are you running Feisty Fawn or Hardy Heron? Feisty Fawn is 7.04. Hardy Heron is 8.04.

Fritz: it's Fiesty. I got Hardy on the brain last night since I was reading up to see if I could move to the latest build but it looks like I would need to install a G3/4 upgrade to move up to HH.
kj: I am just doing this as a way to learn a little more about *nix and thought it would be really neet if I could get this box to triple or quad boot!
So far, I have Mac OS 7.5.3 (original Daystar Install), 8.6 & 9.2.2 Installed along with Ubuntu 7.04
Next up Is Mac OS X and then if I can find a good ISO or better still and original installer I would like to install BeOS since I have heard the some versions will also utilize all four of the cores in this Mac!

Yes, BeOS for PPC was the best way to maximize use of all 4 processors back in the day.
