Recycle computers and TVs....Best Buy starting - samintx - 06-02-2008 Not all states yet but they will be trying to get this program going. 2 units per day per person. Re: Recycle computers and TVs....Best Buy starting - Chupa Chupa - 06-02-2008 Nice deal. They charge us $15 per computer at the hazmat dump. BB here already takes in phones and UPSs for recycling. I hope when they say "Washington D.C." they mean all the metro DC stores, not just the ONE in D.C. proper. I just wanter what/if there is a "catch." Re: Recycle computers and TVs....Best Buy starting - threeprong - 06-02-2008 Did yoda write this subject line? Re: Recycle computers and TVs....Best Buy starting - Spiff - 06-02-2008 How does one find out where in Virginia the recycling will take place? Seems like you would want to direct extra traffic away from the busy city center area, where space is at a premium already. Their Rockville or Gaithersburg stores are probably more likely to have the program, although maybe not since Montgomery County already has a free computer recycling program for residents. Re: Recycle computers and TVs....Best Buy starting - Jem - 06-02-2008 That would be awesome if they did it here in NH. We have to pay $5 per electronic item equal to or larger than a toaster. So a computer, CRT and printer would cost a total of $15. I have too many Macs in my 'museum' and this would be a way to thin things out on the cheap. |
