OK, it's been a long time since I've done anything more than copy and paste an icon in a Get Info window. That obviously doesn't work here. Is there any free program that allows you to do it with these? I don't really want to shell out 30 bucks for CandyBar to do something I can live without.

@ Racer X: Not sure what's happening, I'm on 10.3.9 too and it downloaded/mounted fine.
@ Mike Sellers: CandyBar is really only useful if you're doing a total system
replacement with custom icons. You can copy n' paste these, but do this first...
Download img2icns (little free app that is great)

The app is simple - check folder icon for format, and drag 1 or a whole folder of
the icns files into the "well". They will all be converted to copy/pastable folder icons.
(Note: make sure your output path set to where you want it!)
