How to recover iPhone app documents (a follow up) - enrico7300 - 08-29-2008
I had asked how to recover sound files from Recorder after the app disappeared following a software update: http://forums.macresource.com/read/1/552051
And thanks to the tips in that thread I found this Terminal-based way to find and decode the contents of the hidden iPhone backup files: http://www.losingfight.com/blog/
Fortunately I did still have a backup from two weeks ago to pull the files from. Hope this helps someone out there in a similar predicament!

Right on, Enrico. Pleased to learn it wasn't permanently lost, and you were able to recover it from backup!

My Shazam Tags and Notes were lost though. I think i'm going to use Backup/Restore weekly or twice weekly. 'Sakes!

What do you do when the battery runs down? Don't you plug it in every day or so?
