I have seen at least two online reports of maggots and flies in this line of food. Are they hurting from the pet food tainted with melamine so they don't want to recall it unless there is a widespread problem?

Ugh. I found maggots in a can of my cats food. I don't remember what brand though. It was a couple of weeks ago. Dis..................GUSTING!
I didn't even know. He wouldn't eat and kept back about 5 feet from the bowl. I didn't even know why he wouldn't eat. He just kept staring at the mat which contained his bowls. He was disgusted too. I took pictures of Kiddy because it was so strange that he wasn't eating:
Staring and thinking... "What the frig?"

My dogs have not had this unfortunate problem.
I think that Buffy would eat the flies, etc, just to keep the other dogs from getting to them! ::o
