Sprint Instinct? - Dick Moore - 09-24-2008

Any Instinct owners out there? What do you like/not like about it as a phone first, and then everything else? We're due to re-up with Sprint, and the subject of new phones has come up for our family plan....

What are the real costs? Appreciate any help you can give.

Real Cost? Please elaborate.
My wife has one, she likes the phone. If I had it, I would have broken it already.

Real cost = discounted phone price, and actual service costs for extra features...

I don't have the Instinct, but considering that the internet is a big part of the experience, it helps to have an unlimited vision plan. For the family, it's $99 dollars for the first phone and I think $20 bucks for each phone thereafter on the plan. That includes shared 1500 minutes (I think), mobile to mobile, text, vision etc.

I have the Centro and a Katana and I pay about $120 something a month. Since I don't have to "think" I'm happy with it. And I love the Centro (but be sure to buy the Mark/Space sync tool to make life easier).

I'm interested in the Instinct too. Switching to the iPhone doesn't seem like a wise option for me since AT&T's coverage here is so limited.
