Parallels Desktop - How to open up Windows without invoking the admin password? - edgarbc1 - 09-24-2008 Is there a way to start up Parallels without requiring an admin username and password? I am currently using the shortcut placed on the desktop of my Mac to start up Parallels and i looked through the preferences and cannot seem to find a way to disable admin access information. The reason is I would like the Windows partition available to my kid but without letting her know my admin info. TIA! Edgar Re: Parallels Desktop - How to open up Windows without invoking the admin password? - hal - 09-25-2008 It's the OS that requires the password. If you used just a virtual drive, you wouldn't be asked for the PW.
