Halloween costumes that don't require any special pucrhases? - Black Landlord - 10-18-2008

It's that time of year again-- that time where I completely block on costume ideas.
Need one for tonight- no time to go chasing anything special down.

You can always go as a beachcomber, hippy or something like that.

Put on a white long sleeved button down shirt and tie.
Roll up your sleeves.
Draw circles under your eyes, spray water on your face for sweat, muss up your hair.
Carry a Wall St. Journal under your arm (may have to purchase).
Walk around with your head in your hands all night.

Boom... you are a desperate Wall St. trader.

This is really good. I could spray olive oil around the armpits too :-)

I don't think my hippy clothes will fit any more . . .

In your neighborhood - you might want to write chupacabra in big block letters on there somewhere.

"Borrow" a blinking yellow light, like from a traffic barricade, put on your long john bottoms, strap the light strategically around your "waist", get an old pair of pants and cut off the legs from the knees down and tie them on. Put a trench coat over the whole ensemble and go as The Flasher.

The best costumes are the homemade one. Pick whatever works for you.
