I was just sipping some tea and catching up on the WorldNetDaily when I came across this excellent update:

Hopefully California can help.

all he has to do is allow the State of Hawaii to release his documents. Unless of course, that would cause a problem.

"all he has to do..."

I think it is reasonable (hah!) that any document produced will not satisfy these people. They will just move the goalposts or claim it's a forgery.

He doesn't need to do anything. That sucks or you huh?

I have my original 43 year old birth certificate complete with original inked feet and hand prints in my safe. Where is his?

That's not a birth certificate.

Most hospitals in the U.S. issue a souvenir birth certificate which typically includes the footprints of the newborn. However, these birth certificates are not legally accepted as proof of age or citizenship, and are frequently rejected by the Bureau of Consular Affairs during passport applications. Many Americans believe these souvenir records to be their official birth certificate, when in reality it holds little legal value

Good for you. I'm twenty years older than you and I don't have mine. What does that prove? (by the way birth certificates do not generally include little feet. Hospital certificates may (mine did) but those are not certified birth certificates at least not in most jurisdictions.)

Which brings up the question; if an original is required for proof, what do you do in the case of destroyed/lost records?

Have we disqualified all the people whose records were destroyed by Katrina and other natural disasters?

Were any original BCs stored in the World Trade Center towers before the CIA destroyed them?

What you have just described is in most states just a souvenir birth certificate from the hospital where you were born. It is not the official one that establishes your birth and is what is recorded by whichever office recorded vital statistics where you were born.

P.S. I used to have an official copy of mine, until I lost it in a fire. A direct negative copy from the original. No foot prints, no hand prints, in fact just the factual information about parents, hospital and doctor appeared on it.
