Samsung 204b Died! - Rain - 03-09-2009
2nd Samsung display died tonight.
Didnt die.. but now power button just flashes blue and none of the buttons respond.
They've been on 24/7 for a couple years I guess.

My Sammy 30" died a couple days ago. I went to the sammy website and entered all the info requested, fought to give the web receipt a less than 20 character path and hit send. The dialog that popped up said to call. Might save the time and just call them. They are sending me a refurb and paying shipping both ways. Mine had a 3 year warranty.

Entered all the info on their web site for both of my failed monitors.
Seems they are both under warranty until Sept. of this year. WONDERFUL! (parts n labor)
And they are sending replacements to my local UPS store where I will swap the reconditioned replacements for my failed units.

New one installed and working nicely.
Its a black bezel, refurb, 204b.
Looks good and the exchange at the UPS store was painless and free.
