I got mine at Sam's Club a year or so ago - I think I paid something around the buy.com price after rebate, but I'm not sure. Whatever I paid, it was worth it. I love that mouse - my favorite one ever.

As far as I know, $39.99 AR is the lowest price that this mouse has ever sold for since I bought mine quite a while ago.
