Got my free copy of Leopard Server! - tahoedrew - 04-06-2009 I don't know if it came in this morning or on Friday (probably Friday since I don't THINK the mail-lady was here yet today), but I got my free copy of Leopard Server via FedEx from this thread: http://forums.macresource.com/read.php?1,701242,701242#msg-701242 It was fulfilled from ALOM Technologies Corp in Fremont, CA. Now I just need a new Mini (or an old dual G5) to put it on! ~A Re: Got my free copy of Leopard Server! - C(-)ris - 04-06-2009 Is it a time sensitive serial number? Re: Got my free copy of Leopard Server! - tahoedrew - 04-06-2009 Ugh, just noticed the serial number expires June 30, 2009. Pretty much useless except to put on an external drive and play with for the next few months. ~A Re: Got my free copy of Leopard Server! - Paul F. - 04-06-2009 Yeah, pretty much what I expected (time limited serial number...) But I had my hopes! I haven't got my copy yet... but I'm surprised it was that fast! Re: Got my free copy of Leopard Server! - PeterW - 04-06-2009 How difficult could it be to prevent a computer from reaching a certain time/date? Re: Got my free copy of Leopard Server! - Jem - 04-06-2009 Did you end up getting a phone call from Apple to confirm eligibility? I haven't heard squat, but I also am in the habit of letting calls go to voicemail if they look like telemarketers. Thanks.
