And here I was thinking that your Mirror Drive Door Mac had become sentient and was sending you messages on it's own!

Re: Yay! Shipping Notice from MDD - Racer X - 04-08-2009

they can do that if they have a built-in modem. Kinda creepy when your fax machine lights up, and starts to print out stills of you from your web camera

Re: Yay! Shipping Notice from MDD - Seacrest - 04-08-2009

I did not get one yet. Sad
32 GB, been about two weeks.

Re: Yay! Shipping Notice from MDD - C(-)ris - 04-08-2009

How do those RunCore SSDs compare to a normal 7200rpm hard drive? Are they faster or slower? What about the Dell ones?

Re: Yay! Shipping Notice from MDD - rz - 04-08-2009

Holy crap, I got a notice this afternoon too! I only had to wait 25 days.

Re: Yay! Shipping Notice from MDD - rz - 04-08-2009

faster than the Dell one, slower than a 7200 RPM.

Re: Yay! Shipping Notice from MDD - MacArtist - 04-08-2009

I have had a 32 GB on order since March 11th.

I called today and Chris suggested that either I downgrade to a 16 GB or upgrade to a 64 GB RunCore to get the order shipped quicker.

The only problem is upgrading is another $100. Seems to defeat the purpose of trying to keep the cost down.

Re: Yay! Shipping Notice from MDD - lazydays - 04-08-2009

I ordered on april 1st. I just spoke to Chris and he said 2-3 weeks more.
