I dont' see that as recession proof at all. Yes, people will still die, but they'll be buying cheaper packages than they would in a strong economy.

More and more will probably look into cremation. Much cheaper than burial from what I have been told.

I actually heard something on NPR last week about this. Evidently, the funeral home business is hurting also and they would like some bailout money. Studies have shown that less people die during a recession.

I have a recession-proof job. In fact, an announcement was made recently that they would be hiring in the near future.
