CSS overflow question - lipskidder - 04-09-2009

Keep in mind my CSS skills need brushing up. I have been searching for hours finding I have to keep reading backwards to find the solution which I haven't yet without opening a giant can of CSS. I want a scroll section on my page. I am creating a style sheet with the overflow feature but when I place the oversized image in the cell it doesn't keep to the dimensions of the cell and stretches the cell out. I preview it and sure enough the cell is stretched but there is a scroll bar appearing the whole length of it. Any help would be great.

The posting of code is usually helpful.
Also, please to make sure you have the Firefox with Firebug and Web Dev extensions installed.

For the record, can you clarify what you mean by "cell"? A true table cell or a div?
