It depends on the hardware you have for conversion/encoding and the speed of your internet connection.

I can download from the BBC (not possible outside the UK) direct to my computer as an avi. If people are interested I can then upload it to a file transfer site like YouSendIt but this is only possible for Doctor Who. Red Dwarf is on a different channel.

I had no idea that red drawf had such a long run. I watched the first few seasons then the local tv stopped carrying it.

Red Dwarf stopped after the 8th series in 1999. There has been a gap of ten years until this 3 show series about to be broadcast.
