Just got off the phone with My Digital Discount. Person I spoke with thinks they have about a week's supply of the 16GB; all back-orders of those are being fulfilled today. Said they have about 900 back-orders still for the 32GB.

Are the 16gb runcore drives the same speed as the 32gb ones?

Don't know. But if it's 16GB you seek, it doesn't matter --- the RunCore's are still the fastest. In other words let your storage needs be the determining factor, unless you have the extra cash for the 32.

Well, a 16gb would suffice since I keep all my files on a file server/media server.
But I don't want the 16gb Runcore SSD if the speed is less than that of the 32gb. Even if it's an improvement over the stock 4gb, the stock 4gb appears to be bottleneck on my 2gb/Ubuntu Dell Mini 9.

The problem is that Apple is buying up all the NAND flash. Apple should just go to hell.
