So the account I keep a minimal balance in for paypal, and have an attached debit card... I got an overdraft notice yesterday. WTF ? For $20 to "Telefonica". A transaction that took place probably in Mexico. While I was at work in Cleveland.
Fraud alert put in, card canceled, blah blah.
Lo and behold- here's another one today. &(*&(^!#
"Did you lose your card". No. Not in MEXICO. I've never been there.
"Did you use your card on the internet ?". Just for paypal.
I mean, why don't they just ask if I'm a complete idiot.
Oh, maybe they did. I DO know my address. I even know my social security number. And I remember where I first opened the account. "I'm sorry, that branch was closed four years ago." Yes, I know that. I just told you.
Good thing that was something that didn't fall out of my head when I had my little brain injury.

Why I only use debit cards for internet transactions and then only load them when needed. They could have had a weekend on your AmEx Platinum and you'd be 6-12 months straightening that out.
