Now we have another genius who climbed over the fence in Berlin to ...well, who knows what she was thinking. I guess wild animals aren't as cute and lovable as they are in those Charmin ads...gee, who knew?? Morans.

I can't imagine why she would have done this unless she was either mentally ill or developmentally delayed. Considering that would be a fair first assumption, I find it a bit tasteless to decry the victim as a moron.

Black, that may be so but the first incidence with the Panda was a non-challenged (and I'm being polite here) student who chose to ignore the signs. Just dumb. In her case if she was mentally ill and it was known then she should have been supervised. If she became "spontaneously" mentally ill and just decided to also ignore the signs - and the big tall huge fence... then I stand behind my first assessment. Moran's, both of them

Wild animals ARE cute and lovable...from a distance...a SAFE distance.
A few years back, we went to Yellowstone and despite ALL the warnings, people created traffic jams anytime wild animals were by the roads (bears, bison, etc.). No, these people weren't just STOPPING, they were getting out with their cameras and tripods and RUNNING after the animals to get better pics. Yes, people were even doing this while a mama bear and her 2 cubs were crossing the road. Idiots.
