Speaking of New Pentax Cameras, here's another. - Don Kiyoti - 04-12-2009 Only this one is 30 years old. My dad got this on Ebay and sent it to me so he wouldn't have to decide whether or not to use it. I have another one of these: a black one which I bought new and is my first "real" camera. It needs a little servicing to correct a balky mirror. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: Speaking of New Pentax Cameras, here's another. - microchip - 04-12-2009 Funny you mention that! I own one. It was my Dad's foray into photography. He went through one roll of film and then it resided in the closet for who knows how many years. I'll still do some shooting with it. Great camera. I love the fact that you can shoot with no batteries(albeit then you can't use the meter but who cares.) Re: Speaking of New Pentax Cameras, here's another. - SDGuy - 04-12-2009 Very cool. I still have my ME Super sitting on a shelf - actually stumbled across it today while doing some spring cleaning. It served me well for nearly 20 years, and I'm still using the some of the same lenses that I originally was using on it. My favorite lens was the 40mm 'pancake' that I found at a 2nd hand camera shop in Pensacola, FL. |
