Proper way to install fonts in Tiger? - SteveO - 03-22-2006

I have a bunch of fonts I used in OS9 (about 70 including all their variations -- ital, bold, etc.). I want to install them onto Tiger. What is the best way to do this to ensure the install works properly with all my Tiger apps? [Pretend] I'm really stupid when you give me the answer.

Many TT Tanks,
SteveO

You can install them in User/Library/Fonts (meaning in your user folder, not someone else's). If you want them available to every user, install them in Library/Fonts.

i'd add about 10 at a time, restart, and test apps.

a bad font can cause a nice spinning beachball.
